How it all started

GGFM was birthed in 2018 after God’s confirmation to Rev. Joshua to serve His people but he was resisting. Long after his rebellion, he was without peace serving in microfinance which served as a confirmation and direction to fulltime ministry. In that season the Lord directed him to the community of Bukerere in Seeta town, Mukono district where he begun a local church with his wife and three other members. The church grew in attendance to over 40. A few months after launching GGFM in Bukerere, the Covid 19 pandemic hit the world and all congregational gatherings were suspended in Uganda for a period of two years. In 2021 after the lock down, we relaunched the ministry due to the drop in attendance. We thank God our attendance has now grown to over 200 people with a leadership team of 25.
